The Fallen Rapper Pez prototypes are modeled after the deceased rappers Tupac Shakur, Eazy-E, and Biggie Smalls (RIP). This work explores the consumer frenzy that surrounds America’s national obsession with violence and death at the expense of Black bodies. They were mailed to Pez Candy Inc. president, Scott Mc Whinnie, with a ‘crackpot’ letter proposing their production while digging at the aversive racism and other problematic themes within the Pez candy line.
