A video re-casting of Ronald Reagan into the film Rambo III. Replacing Sylvester Stallone, Reagan fights side by side with John Wayne, the Taliban and other Jihaadists against the Soviets in Afghanistan. Created entirely from appropriated film footage, the film explores the casting of heroes and villains (real and fictional) and the strata of propaganda as it weaves through politics, film, and our national sense of self (manifest destiny, the lone hero, winning the West) and how that fiction is used to leverage popular support for war.
